We are seeking a Top Secret (TS) Cleared Social Media Planner candidate. The Candidate will be responsible for research and development of social media plans, identifying target audience and media outlets. The positions will require recommending media mix and frequency as appropriate to client budget and objectives. The candidate must be familiar with Federal standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for research and development of social media plans.
- Identify target audience and ideal media outlets.
- Recommend media mix frequency as appropriate to client budget and objectives.
- Construct and analyze tables and spreadsheets to summarize and present data, as appropriate, utilizing charts, graphs, maps, and other data visualization methods
- Ensure all documents or correspondence produced adhere to the Government’s plain language guidelines
- Correct inconsistencies and verify references, ensuring the credibility and accuracy of the information for documents and content
- Provide written products, reports, suggestions, and analysis based on the task/deliverables

REQUIREMENTS
- Must have Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance
- Five (5) or more years experience in researching, data validation, and preparing data for analysis, and information through studies, surveys, and other means, which may include working with very large data sets
- Five (5) or more drafting (writing and editing) social media publications and campaigns
- Five (5) or more years of experience with software tools and programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Westlaw and/or other similar research tools
- Public Sector Experience: Proven experience supporting federal government or public-sector communications initiatives, ensuring alignment with agency guidelines.
- Recruitment & Branding Focus: Familiarity with employer branding, talent acquisition, or recruitment marketing campaigns to attract top-tier candidates.
- Platform Proficiency: Practical experience leveraging enterprise social media management tools (such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or equivalent platforms).
- Workflow & Calendar Management: Skilled in coordinating content calendars, streamlining publishing workflows, and navigating multi-tiered approval processes.
- Data & Performance Tracking: Ability to analyze social media metrics and generate performance reports to measure campaign success and reach.
- Professional Excellence: Demonstrates strong professional skills, including attention to detail, clear communication, and collaborative teamwork.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar roles; supporting social media planning, coordination, and execution.
- Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance
WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
- All work will be performed onsite in a secure federal environment in Washington, D.C.

Pay: $81,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
