Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our pub team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pub fare in accordance with established recipes and food safety guidelines.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan specials
-New pub fare creativity is welcomed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Coordinate with servers and other kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Follow proper cooking techniques and presentation standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with following recipes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as a respectful team member
Preferred Skills:
- ServSafe certification preferred
