Leasing Coordinator

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Coordinator to manage the leasing process by ensuring a seamless coordination between prospective tenants, internal teams, and applicants. This role will utilize Yardi software to track, manage, and engage with leads and applicants The primary objective is for the leasing team to achieve optimal occupancy rates. Job Responsibilities
Lead Management and Communication
- Use Yardi CRM to respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, or platform notifications
- Schedule and coordinate property tours with prospective tenants
- Maintain detailed notes and status updates for all leads within the CRM
- Conduct timely follow-ups with prospective tenants to keep them engaged throughout the leasing process
Lease Preparation and Application Management
- Draft and send lease agreements through Yardi CRM, ensuring all necessary terms and conditions are outlined
- Track the progress of lease signatures and follow up with applicants to complete documentation within deadlines
Screening and Approval Process
- Run background and credit screenings on applicants using the integrated tools within Yardi CRM.
- Review screening results and assess applications against company policies and eligibility criteria.
- Make recommendations to approve or deny applications, working closely with management as needed.
Tracking and Reporting
- Maintain a weekly log of all signed leases and provide status reports on applicants and leads.
- Ensure that the CRM is up to date with accurate data to reflect leasing activities and applicant status.
Applicant and Housing Assistance Support:
- Work directly with applicants, including those enrolled in housing assistance programs, guiding them through the leasing process.
- Coordinate with housing authorities and third party agencies to ensure compliance with program requirements
Basic Requirements and Work Experience
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associates degree or above is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in an office or professional setting.
- Proven working experience as leasing agent.
- Proven track record of successful sales.
- Familiarity with MS Office and Yardi software is preferred.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Organization and multitasking ability is a big plus.
- Persuasive with marketing and sales skills
- A willingness to come in every day and help us improve upon what we did yesterday.
- Customer service orientation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
- May require driving between company locations.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive pay starting at $70,000 annual salary
