Description: Pediatric Certified or Registered Medical Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
- Recording vital signs and preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
- Perform EKG's tests.
- Arrange for hospital admissions and referrals.
- Follow‑up with patients concerning questions and lab work.
- Perform lab duties.
- Assist in patient education.
- Assist the healthcare provider.
- Refer prescriptions to pharmacy.
- Responsible for the care and handling of disposable and reusable instruments.
- Assist physicians with minor surgery including set‑up.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED graduate of certified formal training program.
- Experience in pediatrics.
- Must have current certification in accordance with South Carolina law.
