Southern Suds Laundry Center is looking for a friendly, reliable Dry Cleaning and Laundry Attendant to join our Newberry team. This position focuses on providing excellent customer service while managing wash-dry-fold and dry cleaning drop-off orders for our customers.

Position Overview
The Dry Cleaning and Laundry Attendant is responsible for assisting customers with laundry drop-off services, accurately entering orders, organizing garments, and ensuring all items are properly processed and ready for pickup.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Check in wash-dry-fold and dry cleaning orders
- Accurately weigh and enter laundry orders into the POS system
- Tag and organize garments properly for processing
- Prepare completed orders for customer pickup
- Maintain organization of the drop-off area and storage racks
- Answer customer questions about services, pricing, and turnaround times
- Ensure high quality standards for folded and packaged laundry
- Communicate clearly with the production team about special instructions
- Keep the work area clean, professional, and welcoming
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable using a tablet or computer POS system
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Retail, hospitality, or laundry experience is a plus but not required
