Experienced Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant, Full-Time or Part-Time at SoCal Pet Vets – City of Industry, California
SoCal Pet Vets is a rapidly growing, modern, privately owned veterinary hospital seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or highly skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
We provide high-quality wellness, medical, surgical, dental, and urgent care services while maintaining a supportive, positive, and team-oriented culture.
As our hospital continues to grow, we are looking for individuals who not only enjoy caring for pets, but also enjoy helping build a stronger practice through teamwork, initiative, accountability, and excellent client care.
Responsibilities Include
- Patient restraint and handling
- Blood collection and laboratory sample preparation
- IV catheter placement
- Surgical and dental assistance
- Anesthetic monitoring and patient recovery
- Radiology assistance
- Client communication and education
- Medical record documentation
- Hospital cleanliness and organization
- Supporting patient care and hospital workflow wherever needed
Requirements
- Previous veterinary experience required
- Ability to draw blood samples
- Ability to place IV catheters
- Ability to monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
- Strong patient care and client communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Saturday availability is required
