GRILL COOK
You're the engine of brunch service. Eggs, hash, sandwiches, bacon, pancakes — you keep the line moving and the plates hot.
- Working the flat top and grill during high-volume brunch service
- Executing our menu to spec, every ticket, every time
- Prepping proteins, sauces, and components ahead of service
- Keeping your station clean, organized, and stocked
- Communicating clearly with FOH and the rest of BOH on timing and modifications
- Holding the line on food safety and temp standards
You'll thrive here if: You've got line experience, you stay cool when the rail is full, and you take pride in a plate that looks as good as it tastes.
FRONT OF HOUSE
You're the first face guests see and the energy they remember. FOH at Riot is part hospitality, part hype.
- Greeting and seating guests like they're family you actually like
- Taking orders at the counter, running food, and handling to-go and catering pickups
- Making lattes, pour-overs, and our signature seasonal drinks (we'll train you)
- Learning our cocktail menu and pouring brunch boozers
- Handling POS, payments, and tabs accurately
- Answering questions about the menu, ingredients, and what's good today
- Keeping the dining room and counter area looking sharp
You'll thrive here if: You're warm, quick on your feet, and you actually like talking to people. Coffee or bar experience is a plus but not required.
DISHWASHER/BUSSER
You're the backbone of service. You keep clean dishes flowing to the line and tables turning in the dining room — without you, the whole operation stops. We see you and we appreciate you.
- Running the dish pit during service and keeping clean smallwares, glassware, and plates moving to FOH and BOH
- Clearing, wiping, and resetting tables fast and cleanly
- Running food and drinks to tables when FOH needs a hand
- Refilling water, coffee, and handling small guest requests
- Restocking FOH supplies, silverware rolls, and condiments
- Breaking down and deep cleaning the dish area at end of shift
- Helping with trash, floors, and resets across the space
- Pitching in on prep or stocking when the dish load is light
You'll thrive here if: You move with purpose, you notice things before you're asked, you don't mind getting wet, and you want to learn the whole operation from the ground up. This is an excellent way to get your foot in the door.
