Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling additional items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth store operations.
- Assist with food handling procedures, including stocking supplies, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen tasks as needed.
- Follow all food safety management practices to uphold hygiene standards and ensure safe food handling at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transactions.
- Background in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or grocery store experience is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or quick-service settings.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions.
- Experience with food handling, serving, bussing tables, or kitchen work supports success in this role.
