American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a hospital radiology department, working 12-hour weekend day shifts.

Hospital-based radiology department setting

Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures as primary scope of work
-
3x12-hour day shifts per week, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM Friday through Sunday (swing hours to be discussed during interview)

36 hours per week

Uses Epic for charting

Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience required

Active ARRT (R) registration required
-
CT certification required
-
BLS certification (AHA) required — must not expire prior to start date

Proficiency with image quality evaluation, contrast administration, radiation safety measures (ALARA), sterile technique, and infection prevention
-
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications
-
License required if applicable

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures including patient positioning, immobilization, and transfer

Prepares and administers contrast per Radiologist protocol
-
Submits images and clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation and evaluates image quality

Follows radiation safety measures (ALARA) to ensure patient and staff safety
-
Supervises and evaluates student radiographers in the clinical setting
-
A personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required for this assignment; candidates are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous employer when available
-
Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment
