Part-Time STEM Instructor
OmniLearn Corp. is seeking enthusiastic scientists, educators, and STEM professionals to lead hands-on science labs for K–8 students throughout New York City. We are primarily looking to staff our After School Programs with instructional hours that can vary between 1:00–5:00 PM. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists through engaging, inquiry-based learning. This is an in-person position.

Position Overview
As a STEM Instructor, you will facilitate engaging, hands-on science investigations using OmniLearn's curriculum and materials. You'll foster curiosity, encourage scientific thinking, and create a positive classroom environment while collaborating closely with teachers, school administrators, and the OmniLearn team.
Responsibilities
- Lead inquiry-based STEM labs during after-school and summer enrichment programs.
- Prepare for instruction using OmniLearn curriculum and materials.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing and Delivery Manager to ensure classroom materials are delivered on time.
- Communicate with teachers and school administrators to support program implementation.
- Build positive, professional relationships with school staff and students.
- Travel to partner schools throughout New York City, primarily in The Bronx.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Background in a STEM field required; teaching or informal education experience preferred.
- Passion for hands-on, inquiry-based science education.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt instruction to meet students' needs.
- Experience working with culturally, linguistically, and socioeconomically diverse student populations is preferred.
- Professional, collaborative, and dependable.
- Willingness to complete NYC Department of Education fingerprinting through the Personnel Eligibility Tracking System (PETS).
Compensation
$30–$50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
