Beacon Hill partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead key accounting functions, oversee financial operations, and support strategic business initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals with a strong foundation in financial reporting, month-end close, team leadership, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for accuracy and compliance.

Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.

Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial analysis efforts.
-
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and assist with audit preparation.
-
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
-
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
-
Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to support business objectives and decision-making.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.

Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
-
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
-
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred:
-
CPA or CPA-track.
-
Experience in financial reporting, audit support, budgeting, or corporate accounting environments.
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. We are open to considering candidates with a range of accounting leadership backgrounds and will align compensation accordingly.
