Edward Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center with 359 beds in Naperville, IL, is seeking Sterile Processing Technicians (Certified and Non-Certified) to join our team. Location: 801 S. Washington St., Naperville, IL 60540
Shifts:
- Evening: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Night: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Rotating weekends (every 4th weekend; subject to change)
- Holidays: Typically 1–2 per year
On-Call: N/A
Float Requirement: May float to Elmhurst as needed
Pay (Starting Range):
- Certified: $20.69 – $30.00/hr
- Non-Certified: $19.89 – $28.84/hr
Responsibilities:
- Provide sterile processed materials and equipment for hospital and affiliated facilities
- Perform decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and surgical case cart setup
- Ensure quality control and proper labeling of sterile items
- Follow established procedures to maintain safe and effective sterile processing
Qualifications:
- Certification: HSPA preferred for Certified, CBSPD acceptable; Non-Certified also considered
- Experience: 2 years hospital experience (Certified or Non-Certified)
- Education: HS Diploma or equivalent; graduate of sterile processing program preferred
