NOW HIRING: KITCHEN HELP – ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN KATY, TX
We are currently hiring dependable and hardworking kitchen help to join our growing Italian restaurant in Katy, Texas.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in keeping things clean and organized, and is willing to assist wherever needed. Previous restaurant experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Starting Pay:
$12 per hour, with opportunities for raises and advancement
Schedule:
Part-time and full-time hours may be available
Weekend availability is required
Applicants must be flexible with scheduling, including evenings and busy shifts
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing and portioning ingredients
- Washing, cutting, chopping, and organizing produce
- Assisting chefs and cooks during food preparation
- Restocking ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Washing dishes, cookware, and utensils
- Cleaning counters, equipment, floors, and food-preparation areas
- Taking out trash and keeping storage areas organized
- Helping receive and put away food deliveries
- Following food-safety and sanitation procedures
- Completing additional kitchen tasks as assigned by management
What We’re Looking For:
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Able to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes hot kitchen environment
- Willing to clean and assist with all areas of the kitchen
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when needed
- Flexible availability with weekends required
- Reliable transportation
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but not required
- Food-handler certification is preferred, or applicants must be willing to obtain one if required
