After many years of dedicated service our current Director of Nursing is retiring leaving behind a strong foundation of clinical excellence. We are seeking a new Director of Nursing to build and continue this legacy and lead our team into the future.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight and administrative supervision of all nursing staff, including nurse managers and direct caregivers
- Develop, implement, and review comprehensive care plans tailored to residents’ individual needs, ensuring alignment with medical and psychosocial requirements
- Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, Medicare guidelines, HIPAA privacy standards, and other applicable federal and state laws
- Oversee documentation review processes within electronic health record (EHR) systems to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of medical records
- Manage shift scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels while optimizing operational efficiency
- Supervise the administration of medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards
- Lead quality assurance initiatives by analyzing clinical data such as MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments, resident outcomes, and incident reports to identify areas for improvement
- Facilitate effective communication among interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, social workers, residents, and families to promote coordinated care
- Conduct regular audits of medical records and documentation to ensure compliance with documentation review protocols
- Stay abreast of changes in long-term care regulations and adapt policies accordingly to maintain accreditation standard
The ideal candidate will have an active Massachusetts RN license and several years of progressive leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. Strong knowledge of Massachusetts DPH regulations, survey processes, and clinical operations is essential, along with the ability to lead and support a team-oriented nursing staff.
Pay: $125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
