Job Title: Tire & Battery Station Operator (Spanish-speaking)
Pay: $15.00
Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Thursday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Two days off per week.
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Tire & Battery Station Operator to join our team in a self-service junkyard environment. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for managing tire and battery operations efficiently, ensuring the quality and usability of these components for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Tire and Battery Assessment:
- Inspect tires and batteries on vehicles brought into the junkyard for resale.
- Evaluate tire and battery condition to determine usability and potential for resale.
- Identify items requiring repair, replacement, or additional servicing.
Maintenance and Servicing:
- Perform necessary maintenance tasks on tires and batteries to prepare them for resale.
- Repair tires where feasible, including patching punctures and addressing minor damage.
- Recharge batteries or perform basic maintenance to enhance functionality for buyers.
- Replace tires and batteries that are beyond repair or do not meet resale standards.
Customer Assistance:
- Assist buyers in locating vehicles with specific tire and battery requirements within the junkyard.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on available tire and battery options.
- Address buyer inquiries and concerns regarding tire and battery conditions professionally.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of tire and battery inventory.
- Organize inventory for easy access and retrieval, and communicate restocking needs to management.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling tires, batteries, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations for tire and battery disposal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tire and battery station area.
