Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a general background in automotive repair, along with mechanical knowledge to effectively operate various equipment. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage conflicts efficiently. The Operator will be responsible for driving and operating roll back, various equipment, and vehicles while ensuring the safe loading and unloading of materials.
Responsibilities
- Operate roll back vehicles for transportation of goods.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service while addressing client needs and concerns.
- Utilize conflict management skills to resolve any issues that may arise during operations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the facility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts and tow trucks is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle customer interactions effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer interaction.
