Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Site Manager to lead residential remodeling projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will oversee daily construction activities, coordinate teams, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project schedules and budgets. Your leadership will drive project success, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of residential remodeling projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery within budget.
- Manage and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to guide on-site activities effectively.
- Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and Construction Scheduling tools to optimize workflow.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Review construction drawings and technical documents for accuracy; conduct quality control inspections regularly.
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and prepare progress reports for stakeholders.
- Supervise the procurement of materials using HeavyBid or Pipeline software; verify deliveries and manage inventory on-site.
- Enforce safety protocols according to OSHA standards and federal regulations; conduct safety meetings and site audits frequently.
- Review contracts, change orders, and scope of work with clients and subcontractors to prevent disputes or delays.
- Lead team meetings to communicate project goals, timelines, safety procedures, and performance expectations clearly.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and Pipeline.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards (OSHA), blueprint reading, and technical drawing interpretation.
- Proven ability in managing teams in a construction management role with excellent supervisory skills.
- Skilled in project scheduling, construction site coordination, budgeting, and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with managing commercial construction projects as well as residential remodeling specifics.
- Effective managerial communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Hands-on experience supervising construction sites with a focus on safety compliance and risk mitigation.
- Ability to operate measurement tools such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
