Job Summary:
The Construction Superintendent coordinates all on-site construction activities required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes supervising all trade and field personnel and maintaining the highest level of quality while ensuring a safe and secure job site. The Superintendent reports to the Project Manager and Director of Operations. Traveling position, required to travel throughout the United States.
Qualifications:
- Five to Seven years of relevant experience in commercial construction project, preferably in interior fit-outs, high-end commercial retail general contracting
- Experience working in Westchester Mall is preferred
- OSHA certifications (preferred)
- Have a valid driver license with the ability to travel
- US Work Authorization required
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout the US for the duration of the project.
- Ability to work additional hours to meet business plan goals.

Responsibilities:
- Perform project supervision under the direction of a Project Manager.
- Attending the pre-construction meeting, all project progress meetings and weekly safety and informational meetings.
- Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
- The superintendent must maintain site presence during working hours when any subcontractor or vendor is on site, including but not limited to weekends.
- Keep track of material stock and orders
- Schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process
- Lead the on-site team from construction start through project close.
- Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness.
- Proactively identify and help remedy design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues.
- Prepares, schedules, and supervises completion of a final punch list.
- Daily reports submission using BuilderTrend
