Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in group home settings or home care environments, particularly with individuals who have autism or developmental disabilities. This role involves helping clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide meal preparation and cooking services tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Support clients in engaging with their community and participating in social activities.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist clients with mobility or transfers.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the supervising staff.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, encouraging independence and self-esteem.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a group home, home care, or related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have autism or developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by law.

Pay: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour
