Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial, residential, and industrial spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Operate specialized equipment such as buffers and floor care machines to maintain high-quality flooring standards
- Conduct custodial tasks like restocking supplies, sanitizing restrooms, and ensuring common areas are hygienic and organized
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall building upkeep
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any issues or damages promptly
- Support additional janitorial or porter duties as needed to ensure the facility remains clean and functional
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing surfaces
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
