Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cable Operator to join our dynamic broadcasting and telecommunications team. Duties

- Troubleshoot technical problems promptly, diagnosing faults in the cable network or equipment and implementing effective solutions.
- Assist with the installation and configuration of new cable systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with technical teams to perform system upgrades, repairs, and testing procedures.
- Maintain detailed logs of operations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting reports for future reference.
- Support customer service teams by providing technical assistance related to cable issues or outages.
- Follow safety protocols strictly during all installation and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or damage.
- Stay updated on technological advancements in cable systems to recommend improvements or upgrades.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cable Operator or in a similar technical role within broadcasting, telecommunications, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of cable transmission systems, signal flow, and associated hardware components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment used for troubleshooting cable networks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure during outages or emergencies.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to electrical and cable system operations.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and assisting customers when necessary.
