In this role, you’ll provide essential support across Human Resources, Support Services, and client record management while helping employees, visitors, and community members have a positive experience. You’ll balance details, deadlines, and the occasional “can you help me with this?” moment with professionalism, care, and a can-do attitude.

Keeping Headquarters Humming (Administrative Support):

Be the welcoming voice on the phone and the friendly face greeting visitors at headquarters.

Help create a positive first impression for employees, clients, and community partners.

Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and correspondence.

Log incoming checks and cash with accuracy and attention to detail.

Complete data entry, reports, file maintenance, and special projects that keep the organization organized.

Assist with maintaining client records and confidential documentation.
Helping Our People (HR Support):

Support the hiring process by running background checks and helping ensure applicant information is accurate and complete.

Upload and maintain important employee documents in the HR portal.

Update IowaWORKS and other employment systems with new hire information.

Assist with onboarding tasks and employee record maintenance.

Handle sensitive information with care, confidentiality, and professionalism.
