Job Overview
Yellow Springs Community Children's Center is currently accepting applications for an experienced full time Lead teacher. MUST have at least one year experience in a daycare setting.
Candidates should have strong classroom management skills, ability to meet deadlines, familiar with Creative Curriculum and be a team player.
Provide your Career Pathways Level (CPL) in your resume
CDA, Associates or bachelor's degree is preferred!
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula using Creative Curriculum
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring an engaging and inclusive environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management practices to foster a respectful and collaborative atmosphere.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom dynamics.
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student observations, attendance, and behavioral reports to ensure compliance with licensing standards and educational best practices.
