Job Summary
As a Bartender/Server at The Spot, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service in a high-volume, upscale lounge environment. This role requires speed, precision, and the ability to create a memorable guest experience while maximizing sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately
- Provide attentive table and bar service in a high-volume setting
- Maintain a clean, organized bar and service area throughout shifts
- Process guest orders and payments using POS systems
- Verify identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws
- Communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, and management
- Upsell cocktails, premium spirits, and VIP/bottle service
- Maintain a professional, polished, and friendly demeanor with all guests
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Hours Monday-Thursday 6PM-2AM, Friday-Sunday 6PM-2AM
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of high-volume bar or lounge experience REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be 21+ (100% ID compliance environment)

Preferred Experience
- Nightlife, lounge, or upscale bar experience
- Bottle service / VIP service experience
- Familiarity with POS systems (Toast preferred)
