In-Home Caregiver – Private Residence
Seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a 69-year-old woman who wishes to remain safely and comfortably in her own home rather than transition to a nursing facility. This role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through personalized, non-medical assistance and companionship.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Minimal meal planning and preparation
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Monitoring for changes in physical or mental well-being and communicating concerns to family or healthcare providers
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
Ideal Candidate:
- Kind, reliable, and respectful
- Experience as a caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, or in a similar role preferred but NOT REQUIRED
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Passionate about helping older adults age safely in place while maintaining their independence and dignity
