Join our dynamic team as a Fence Installer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces with expertly crafted fences. As a Fence Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining fences using a wide range of tools and techniques, ensuring safety, precision, and customer satisfaction at every step. Duties
- Measure and mark installation sites accurately, ensuring proper alignment and levelness.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to dig post holes, set posts, and secure fencing materials.
- Install various types of fences including wood, vinyl, chain-link, and ornamental styles with attention to detail.
- Manage site preparation tasks such as concrete forming for post foundations or grading the ground for proper drainage.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency during installations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards and building codes.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in carpentry, masonry, or related trades is highly valued.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to fencing projects.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing basics, and glass or cabinet installation is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction management principles including estimating and inspection processes enhances your effectiveness on the job.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during site preparation or material handling.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites including OSHA standards.
