Position: Concentrate Lab Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and safety-conscious Concentrate Lab Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise processing, refinement, and packaging of high-quality concentrates. You will work closely with our Extraction Specialist to ensure all products meet our strict quality standards while maintaining a clean, efficient, and compliant laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Processing & Refinement: Operate laboratory equipment (such as extraction machinery, rotovaps, ovens, and centrifuges) to produce concentrates in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Quality Control: Monitor product quality throughout the extraction and refinement processes, conducting sensory and visual inspections to ensure consistency.
Lab Maintenance: Maintain a pristine, sanitary, and organized workspace. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of all laboratory equipment.
Inventory & Documentation: Meticulously document production batches, including yields, input weights, and process times. Ensure accurate inventory tracking in compliance with state regulations.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all facility safety protocols, including the proper handling and storage of solvents and hazardous materials. Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to meet daily and weekly production quotas.
Qualifications
Experience: Prior experience in a laboratory, extraction, or botanical processing environment is preferred. (Compensation commensurate with experience).
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow complex, multi-step procedures with high accuracy and minimal error.
Technical Aptitude: Comfort working with specialized machinery and software for tracking/inventory.
Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Compliance: Must be able to follow strict state regulations and internal security policies.
