We are looking to immediately contract for a: Home Health and Hospice Liason
Pay Rate: Will be salary and commission bonuses; along with possible quarterly bonus payouts. Negotiable based on experience.
Job Summary
The Liason is responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, developing more relationships with referral sources, building positive brand awareness, representing the organization at various community events, organizing sales and marketing events in the community, etc.
Essential Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Marketing Director, DON, and Executive Director to implement organization’s strategic marketing plan
- Takes ownership on executing strategic marketing plan
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current referral sources
- Develops additional relationships with prospective referral sources
- Builds positive brand awareness in the community
- Employs marketing and promotional initiatives
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of local hospice industry competitive landscape, key referral sources, SWOT analysis, and competitor’s market positioning
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by Serenity Hospice.

Experience and/or Education
Required
- Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.

- Marketing experience (preferably 2+ years)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Knowledge
- Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations, Hospice Medicare Conditions of Participation, and HIPAA privacy rules and regulations
Skills and Abilities
- Must have general computer skills and a working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records systems, MS office, Outlook, and the internet
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Working Conditions
Work Environment(s): Indoor/Office Community Facilities/Security Outdoor Exposure
Member/Patient Facing: No Telephonic In Person
Equipment: General office equipment and/or mobile technology
Travel: Requires travel outside of the workplace at least weekly; the employee’s personal vehicle may be used. Driving infractions will be monitored in accordance with organizational policy. A company vehicle may be offered.
Schedule: flexible
