Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations with energy and precision. Duties
- Supervise daily production schedules, ensuring timely completion of manufacturing targets using production management systems such as SAP, ERP, and MRP software.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles like Six Sigma and lean management techniques.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, manage production planning, and ensure seamless supply chain analytics integration for efficient operations.
- Implement process improvements by analyzing Excel data, conducting root cause analysis, and applying lean manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Oversee quality control procedures to meet strict manufacturing standards, ensuring products are produced to specifications with consistent quality.
- Manage plant operations by monitoring mechanical systems, overseeing assembly lines, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize manufacturing management systems such as SAP and ERP platforms to track production metrics, generate reports, and support data-driven decision-making.
Experience
- Must have CNC machining experience and be able to help train and lead the team efficiently
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating strong leadership in plant or operations management roles.
- Familiarity with SAP, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), ERP systems, and supply chain management tools for effective production scheduling and planning.
- Strong background in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and lean management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization initiatives.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with expertise in quality control processes to uphold high standards of product excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering cross-functional communication across departments like supply chain, maintenance, and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of manufacturing management systems and supply chain analytics to support continuous operational enhancements.
