Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Professional Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in various residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning services like sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and trash removal.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other assigned areas.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to company standards.
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
- Notify management of any damages, deficiencies, or needs for repairs.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members as needed.
- Handle cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
- Potentially assist with specialized cleaning tasks (e.g., deep cleaning, post-construction cleaning).
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is preferred but not required (we are willing to train the right candidate).
- Ability to handle basic cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and stamina (ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods).
- Reliable transportation to and from various job sites.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record if you provide company vehicles or require travel between multiple sites daily.
- Ability to pass a background check.
