- We are seeking a Painter to join our year-round team and doing all types of coatings in the painting trade. Must have experience in this trade specializing in both residential and commercial projects. This is a competitive position as the most qualified candidate will be selected for hiring. Thiss is not an entry level job or on the job training. Canidate must be able to get job done with task given to by foreman without supervision. Candidate will have a strong attention to detail and working together as a team to achieve a common goal of completing daily tasks. This role involves using the knowledge you have gained throughout your year as a tradesman in painting. work includes but not limited to sanding, scraping, spraying multiple surfaces, use of brush, roller, masking, preparing multiple types of surfaces to paint and ensuring that all work meets industry standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint using various methods including brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying.
- Restore and renovate existing surfaces to enhance their appearance.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Perform plaster work as needed to ensure smooth surfaces prior to painting.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of the project.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential & commercial painting is required.
- Be able to lift up to 50-80lbs properly and safely
- Standing on feet, bending on knees, and ladder work for long durations at a time
- Familiarity with plastering techniques is a plus.
- Spray experience is required
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Man lifts and scissor lift experience not required but preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with concrete finishing is an advantage.
- Ability to restore and renovate surfaces as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay: $14.00 - $23.00 per hour
