Objective:
This role strengthens the Creative Ministry by supporting worship, production, communications, and administrative systems that help create engaging, Christ-centered experiences for the church. Through thoughtful organization, volunteer development, creative collaboration, and ministry support, this role helps people experience the hope, healing, freedom, and flourishing found in Jesus.
Job specifics:
- Help overall organization of services, worship, production and communications areas of the church as it relates to the Creative department.
- Participating in Worship on weekends, holidays and special events, Shelter nights, youth group, young adults, prime timers, staff chapel, etc.
- Assist in administration for the Creative department (calendaring, receipts, budgeting, scheduling, planning, etc.).
- Support B4 Creative team by producing weekend services(volunteer team) and managing planning center, green room, and team communication for Sunday services, youth/young adults and other events.
- Help administrate worship through song selection, worship content creation, dept handbook, young leadership development, worship scheduling, etc.
- Organize and maintain projects, contracts, payments, subscriptions, and relationships with the various contractors that interface with dept, including Artist Partners.
- Assist with communications via content creation, social media, website, emails, etc.
- Provide administrative and musical support for Shelter Music.
- Manage and organize auxiliary and special events for the broader organization as they relate to Worship, Production, & Communications. Help onboard, connect, and facilitate events. Gather production-related information for events and distribute/communicate as needed for the Creative team.
Qualifications:
- A confessing Spirit-led Christian who holds to the ICFG statement of faith. Committed to an ethical lifestyle per the B4Church
Biblical Ethics Commitment & Confidentiality Agreement. Intent on pursuing intimacy with God. Passionate about making mature, reproducing disciples.
- Able to maintain a high level of integrity, discernment and discretion in caring for people. Carefully handles sensitive information.
- A self-motivated learner who continually improves vocational knowledge and skills. Teachable with a growth mindset.
- Ability to use common workplace technology, including, but not limited to, Google Workplace Apps, database management, and Planning Center with speed and accuracy. Willingness and aptitude to learn and use specialized computer programs and applications.
- Demonstrates innovation, initiative, organizational skills, and professional accountability. Creatively troubleshoots and solves problems.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills when working with others.
- Able to functionally lead others. Required to recruit new volunteers, coach/give feedback, and motivate multiple volunteer teams.

- Required ability to adapt and flex in response to changing priorities, fluctuation in deadlines, and interruptions.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through oral and written formats with demonstrated ability to make effective group presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or 3-5 years job relevant progressive experience.
- Proficient in an instrument and capable of leading from it.
Essential Functions:
- Provide prayerful partnership with leadership for the overall function of the creative ministry.
- Work cross-departmentally to educate and partner with other ministries.
- Cultivate a healthy and vibrant spiritual life, maintaining life-giving rhythms by respecting the proper balance between rest and work. Offer wise, discerning spiritual care and biblical guidance to others when appropriate from the overflow of life in one’s self. Know when to provide appropriate counseling referrals.
- Maintain prudent use of area's assets under supervisory approval using accurate budgeting, and proper/consistent use of finance approval systems.
- Support and administer a range of discipleship pathways for the church, including but not limited to soul care, prayer, teaching, evangelism, fellowship, and service.
- Support the team in all aspects of volunteer partnership, making serving at B4Church an essential component of the creative team. This includes but is not limited to recruiting and training, identifying proper placement placement, leadership and spiritual development, and onboarding. Ensure compliance with the Volunteer Application Process.
- Maintain data: volunteer database, registrations or participant's database, attendance rosters, activity registrations, special events, records.
- Study to stay current on the growing body of information, needs, methods, and resources available for your role.
- Manage and maintain ministries calendar, scheduling meetings and events, supplies and assets, working with supervisor/Director for consistency.
- Partner with supervisor to perform ongoing assessment of programs and procedures to determine effectiveness; make recommendations to refine and adjust accordingly.
- Work with supervisor and communications team to ensure church is informed of announcements and celebrations and provide communication regarding events to other departments
- Implement advanced calendaring for cross-departmental cohesion and adequate notification for communications, facilities, food services, etc.
- Take part in the routine staff responsibilities of care for congregation and serving at major services.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the executive pastor, associate pastor, or lead pastor.
