MACHINIST JOB DESCRIPTION:
CNC & Manual Machinist We're not looking for someone to load a program and watch a green light — we need a machinist who can run the equipment independently.
What you'll do:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills (read/edit programs, offsets, tooling)
- Run manual lathes and mills for one-off and low-volume work
- Operate general shop equipment — saws, grinders, etc
- Read blueprints, hold tolerances, and inspect your own work
What we need:
- 5+ years experience on BOTH manual and CNC equipment preferred — this is a dual-capable role, not single-machine
- Comfortable setting up jobs from a print, not just running pre-set programs
- CNC programming experience a plus, CAM or by hand
