We are seeking a Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis, utilizing medical and dental terminology accurately.
- Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics.
- Utilize dental imaging technology and aseptic techniques to ensure precise diagnoses and safe treatment environments.
- Conduct patient consultations to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care strategies clearly and transparently.
- Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to uphold the highest standards of safety and quality care.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft, similar platforms, Physical charts.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry, office does currently use x-ray film, but are open to changing to sensor.
- Skilled in performing dental extractions, Limited endodontics, crowns, composites, and other restorative procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with infection control standards, aseptic techniques, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation practices.
- Currently using paper charting as well as Eaglesoft. film x-rays, but are willing to update to sensor/digital, CBCT/Pano machine.
