American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience for a night shift contract in an acute care hospital setting in Georgia.

Work settings include adult acute care, adult outpatient, and the Emergency Department
-
Procedures include abdomen/pelvis with and without contrast, chest with and without contrast, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), coronary CTA, vascular CTA, CT arthrography, biopsies, aspirations, drainage, and myelography

Equipment used includes Siemens CT scanner and PACS

Epic EMR experience is preferred
-
4x10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
-
No on-call required
-
Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required
-
Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
-
ARRT (CT) or ARRT (R) certification required; BLS required
-
GA license or Compact license required if applicable
-
Experience in adult acute care and ED settings required
-
Teaching hospital and trauma experience preferred
-
Proficiency with contrast media preparation and administration required
-
Experience with Siemens CT equipment and PACS required
-
FUJI experience preferred
-
Peripheral IV insertion skills preferred

All RTO must be finalized prior to submission; no RTO or schedule changes will be accepted after offer or upon arrival onsite

RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment

Holiday coverage is required: if 1–2 major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work at least 2
-
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day

Candidates who have worked at or applied to any facility in this health system as a permanent employee, per diem, or FCSS must have been away for at least 1 full year before applying as a traveler

The shift listed is firm; no alternate shift or schedule requests are permitted

Copies of all relevant certifications are required for consideration

Two supervisory references (Manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred for consideration
