Couve Chiropractic is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, compassionate International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to join our team.

Position
Part-Time IBCLC
Approximately 1–3 days per week to start, with the opportunity to grow as demand increases.
Flexible scheduling available.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive breastfeeding and infant feeding consultations, including prenatal and postpartum support
- Perform weighted feeds and develop individualized feeding plans
- Educate families on latch, positioning, milk supply, pumping, bottle feeding, return-to-work planning, and infant nutrition
- Assess oral function and identify feeding challenges, collaborating with providers when tethered oral tissues or other concerns are suspected
- Provide pre- and post-frenectomy feeding support and follow-up care
- Collaborate closely with our chiropractic team and communicate with pediatricians, midwives, OB/GYNs, dentists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other providers to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate documentation using our electronic health record (Jane App)
- Monitor patient outcomes and contribute ideas to continually improve our lactation program
- Stay current on the latest evidence and best practices in lactation, maternal health, infant feeding, and oral function
- Participate in occasional community education opportunities, workshops, or outreach events (optional but encouraged)
- Help develop and grow our lactation program as our practice continues to expand
Qualifications
- Current IBCLC certification in good standing
- Experience supporting breastfeeding families from birth through infancy
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Compassionate, relationship-centered approach to care
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Passion for evidence-based, family-centered care
- Experience with oral restrictions (tongue and lip ties), pumping, bottle feeding, and weighted feeds preferred
- Experience with Jane App or another electronic health record is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Compensation & Benefits
- $50–65 per hour, depending on experience
