Under regular supervision. and as part of an internship program, performs varied technical assignments required for the design, implementation, and support of systems that comprise the City’s enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity environments. This position will focus on services and procedures within the Infrastructure Services Division.
Interacts with numerous operating systems and hardware platforms in a multi-layered client/server environment including upgrading, patching, or installing hardware or software. Monitor assigned platform or system. Assist with detailed troubleshooting and problem resolution, identification and remediation of cybersecurity vulnerability, analysis of audit-security logs, collaboration with other staff members and/or vendors, respond to service requests, attend department, team, and one-on-one meetings, and contribute to the organization through individual and group projects as assigned.
Enrolled in a four-year accredited university or college program related to Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study. Applicants must have a strong desire to learn and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Good oral and written communication skills, as well as attention to detail, is required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
