Only physicians who have completed an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency and hold an MD or DO degree will be considered. Applications from non-physicians, technicians, assistants, or students will not be reviewed.
American Eyecare Center is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our expanding medical and surgical eye care practice.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to build a busy clinical practice with strong referral support while working alongside experienced optometrists and dedicated clinical staff.

Responsibilities
- Comprehensive ophthalmic examinations
- Medical and surgical management of ocular disease
- Cataract evaluation and surgery (preferred)
- Glaucoma diagnosis and management
- Diabetic eye disease
- Macular degeneration
- Urgent eye care
- Surgical co-management with referring providers
- Collaboration with optometrists on patient care
Candidates with additional fellowship training are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
- Maryland medical license or eligibility
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Excellent surgical and clinical judgment
- Outstanding communication skills
