Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated <PERSON> specializing in Drywall, T-Grid, and Exterior Finishes to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall systems, metal stud framing, exterior stucco, and other related finishes across various projects. Your expertise will ensure that all work meets high-quality standards while adhering to safety regulations and project timelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse construction projects, from commercial buildings to renovation sites, with a focus on precision and craftsmanship.
Duties
- Install and finish drywall.
- Install suspended (T-grid) ceiling systems.
- Install exterior metal panel systems, including PAC-CLAD or similar products.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Measure, cut, and install materials accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work effectively with supervisors and fellow team member
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial carpentry experience preferred.
- Drywall installation
- T-grid ceiling installation
- PAC-CLAD or similar exterior panel systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, if required.
- Proven experience in drywall installation, texturing, plastering, and exterior finishes like stucco or siding
- Strong knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for working at heights or on scaffolding
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of project timelines
- Hands-on experience with framing (metal stud and frame carpentry), door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, painting (including airless spray), caulking, trim carpentry, masonry, plumbing (including fixture installation), remodeling, water damage restoration, mold remediation, handyman tasks, and fixture installation is highly desirable
