Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Coffee Shop Manager to lead our vibrant café team and ensure an exceptional experience for every guest. Responsibilities
- Lead daily café operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality
- Supervise and train staff in food preparation, customer service, POS systems (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), and food handling procedures
- Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate ordering to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Oversee cash handling procedures, reconcile registers, and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Implement staff training programs focused on food safety, hospitality management, and operational excellence
- Supervise kitchen activities including food production, cooking, and ensuring adherence to health regulations
- Foster a positive team environment through effective interviewing, hiring, performance management, and ongoing development initiatives
Requirements
- coffee shop or café environments
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as square
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams within hospitality or restaurant settings
- Knowledge of inventory control practices and food management techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining operational efficiency
- Prior experience in hospitality management or restaurant management roles preferred; barista or coffee experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food production, kitchen management, and staff training
