Job Description:
Superior Fence & Rail of Cincinnati is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse & Production Associate to support our Cincinnati operations. As the Warehouse & Production Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring installation crews receive the right materials, in the right quantities, and on time. Your attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence will directly impact customer satisfaction, field productivity, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Production Preparation: Review job packets and pick tickets to accurately pull, fabricate, and prepare materials for upcoming fence installations. Ensure all orders are complete and ready for scheduled installation dates.
Material Fabrication: Operate production equipment, including CNC routers, saws, and other shop equipment, to machine and fabricate fencing materials while maintaining Superior Fence & Rail quality standards.
Material Staging & Loading: Stage completed orders for installation crews and load vehicles with the correct materials, hardware, and accessories. Verify order accuracy prior to departure.
Inventory Management: Receive, organize, label, and store incoming inventory. Conduct routine cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy, and identify material shortages requiring replenishment.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard. Ensure materials are stored properly to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
Field Support: Deliver materials to active job sites as needed to support installation crews and maintain production schedules.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Identify material discrepancies, production issues, and inventory variances. Investigate root causes and recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce errors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Field Operations, Project Coordinators, Sales, and Procurement to ensure materials are available and projects remain on schedule.
KPI Monitoring: Support warehouse performance by tracking key performance indicators, including inventory accuracy, on-time material staging, production efficiency, material accountability, and warehouse organization.
Safety Leadership: Follow all company safety policies and maintain safe operating procedures when using equipment, handling materials, and loading vehicles.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of warehouse, production, manufacturing, or construction material handling experience
- Experience operating production equipment or CNC machinery preferred
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to read work orders, pick tickets, and production documents
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced operation
- Ability to safely operate a forklift (current certification preferred; training and certification may be provided if needed)
- Basic computer skills and inventory management experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift up to 80 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
