American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS-AB certification and 1+ years of experience for an evening shift assignment.
-
General ultrasound unit performing abdomen, OB/GYN (1st trimester), pediatrics, DVT, and carotid studies
-
Also covers some pediatric cases in the Emergency Department
-
32 hours per week schedule
-
Weekday shifts 2:00 PM-10:00 PM, weekend shifts 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
-
Evening shift 4x8 hours from 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
-
Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
-
Call requirement currently every 5th or 6th weekend, Saturday/Sunday 4:00 PM-10:00 PM

Additional call may be picked up if available

Uses Epic and PACS charting systems

ARDMS-AB certification required; ARDMS OB/GYN and RVT preferred
-
BLS certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of experience required

Must be confident and comfortable working independently

License required if applicable

Perform general ultrasound studies including abdomen, liver, spleen, gallbladder, pancreas, and biliary tract imaging
-
Conduct OB/GYN studies including 1st trimester pregnancy scans
-
Perform pediatric abdominal/pelvic ultrasounds, particularly in the ED
-
Conduct vascular studies including DVT and carotid duplex imaging
-
First-time travelers accepted
-
Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate within a 75-mile radius
