We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management and patient service, with the ability to perform thorough physical examinations and assessments. This role requires a deep understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques to provide effective treatment for patients suffering from acute pain and other conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual treatment plans.
- Perform acupuncture treatments using appropriate techniques, including trigger point therapy.
- Manage acute pain through effective acupuncture methods and patient education.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment progress in compliance with medical standards.
- Ensure a clean and safe treatment environment by adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Provide exceptional patient service, addressing concerns and answering questions regarding treatments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in acupuncture practices and pain management techniques.
Requirements
- Valid certification as an Acupuncturist from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in acute pain management and patient assessment.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques is preferred.
- CPR Certification is required to ensure patient safety during treatments.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding patient service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
