Anchor Health Home Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Instructor to lead New York State Personal Care Aide (PCA) training classes and help prepare the next generation of caregivers. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality caregiver education while maintaining compliance with New York State regulations.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Albany
Responsibilities
- Conduct New York State PCA training classes.
- Lead orientation sessions for newly hired caregivers.
- Evaluate students and provide guidance throughout the training program.
- Maintain accurate training records and required documentation.
- Ensure all training is conducted in accordance with New York State regulations and Anchor Health policies and standards.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license and current registration.
- Minimum of 1 year of home care experience required..
- Excellent communication, teaching, and presentation skills.
- Professional, dependable, organized, and comfortable leading classroom instruction.
