Join Our Team! GSRP Lead Teacher
Trinity Lutheran Church Early Childhood Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate GSRP Lead Teacher to join our team of Christian educators. If you enjoy inspiring young learners while sharing the love of Christ, we'd love to hear from you!
As the GSRP Lead Teacher, you will teach a classroom of 18 four-year-old preschool children using the Creative Curriculum, complete GOLD Assessments three times each school year, follow all GSRP requirements, and co-teach our daily Jesus Time. You will be supported by an Associate Teacher and a Preschool Assistant, creating a collaborative and positive classroom environment.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: Starting at 35,000 per year, paid twice monthly
- School Year: Classes begin in September and continue through the end of May
- Time off during scheduled school breaks
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM (includes lunch break)
Classroom Hours
- Preschool Instruction: 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
- Jesus Time: 3:05 PM-3:20 PM, Monday-Thursday
Responsibilities
- Teach a GSRP preschool classroom using the Creative Curriculum
- Complete GOLD Assessments three times per school year
- Follow all GSRP guidelines and requirements
- Partner with classroom staff to provide a nurturing, engaging learning environment
- Co-teach daily Jesus Time
- Attend required GSRP trainings, monthly staff meetings, and parent events (when scheduled). These responsibilities are compensated.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (required by GSRP)
