Purpose:
The Senior Operations Manager – Construction is responsible for leading large-scale regional construction operations, managing multiple market teams, and driving performance across field operations, subcontractor partnerships, and project delivery. This role ensures alignment with strategic goals, client requirements, safety standards, and financial targets.
This position serves as a critical bridge between senior leadership and field execution, providing operational oversight, leadership, and accountability across construction markets.
- Lead multi-market construction operations, including aerial, underground, and infrastructure build projects

Manage regional construction managers, field supervisors, and subcontractor crews to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Oversee project planning, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet construction timelines and growth objectives

Drive operational efficiency and cost control through proactive performance management and field oversight

Serve as senior escalation point for client issues, safety incidents, project delays, and quality concerns

Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, permitting requirements, environmental regulations, and client specifications

Lead project audits, field inspections, and performance improvement initiatives across assigned regions

Collaborate with leadership on construction strategy, contractor management, and workforce planning

Support implementation of construction technologies, tools, and process improvements

Deliver regular reporting on project performance, financials, and operational metrics

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in construction operations, telecom infrastructure, or field operations

3+ years of experience in a multi-site or senior leadership role

Proven success managing regional construction teams and subcontractor networks

Experience overseeing large-scale infrastructure or telecom construction projects

Strong understanding of construction safety standards, permitting, and regulatory compliance

Experience with budget management, forecasting, and cost control
Exposure:
- High-volume construction operations in telecom, broadband, utilities, or infrastructure environments

Financial planning, contract management, and subcontractor oversight
