What You'll Do
- Provide routine and advanced nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, report changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols, observe for side-effects
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and education provided
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and standards
What You Need
- Current RN license in Louisiana or a valid compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- One year of relevant nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
