Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Clinic Position (1099 Contractor)
Location: Outpatient Clinic – Portland, Oregon
Schedule: 1 day per week with opportunity to grow your caseload
Are you looking for a flexible outpatient position where you can make a meaningful impact while building your schedule? We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing private practice as a 1099 independent contractor.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with a diverse caseload and is interested in expanding their expertise in orofacial myofunctional disorders and feeding/swallowing.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult clients in an outpatient clinic setting
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to promote carryover
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Opportunity to treat speech, language, swallowing, and myofunctional disorders
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric and adult populations
- Experience or interest in orofacial myofunctional therapy is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
Schedule
- One or two consistent clinic days per week with room to build additional days as the caseload grows
- Preferred clinic hours (one of the following):
- 1* day 8:00 am - 6:45 pm (10 hours with paid 45 minute lunch) Monday or Tuesday*
- 2 days 1:00 pm - 6:30 pm (10 hours with (2) 30 minute paid lunches)
- Availability during after-school hours (3:30-6:30) is required, though scheduling offers flexibility as the caseload grows.
Compensation & Benefits
- $58.00–$68.00 per hour, based on experience
- Up to $500 annually toward continuing education (CEUs)
