We are seeking a dependable and motivated Facility Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at an assigned client location. Position Summary
As a Facility Maintenance Supervisor, you will supervise the daily work of Facility Maintenance Technicians at an assigned client location. You will help ensure all cleaning and facility maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to Empire Facility Management’s quality standards.
This is a hands-on supervisory position that requires working alongside your team while providing direction, training, and support. The Supervisor will serve as the on-site point of contact for employees and communicate updates, concerns, and needs to company management.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Facility Maintenance Technicians at the assigned location.
- Train, coach, and provide guidance to employees.
- Ensure daily cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed properly and on schedule.
- Perform routine quality inspections to maintain company standards.
- Assist with commercial cleaning and facility maintenance duties as needed.
- Ensure employees follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Monitor janitorial supplies and notify management when additional supplies are needed.
- Communicate professionally with client representatives and company leadership.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and operational issues.
- Assist with employee coverage and scheduling needs when required.
- Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time.
- Promote a positive, professional, and team-focused work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory, team lead, or leadership experience preferred.
- Commercial cleaning or facility maintenance experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide direction and support to a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
