Responsibilities
- Operate and drive a commercial truck with a CDL Class A license, ensuring safe transportation of goods.
- Load and unload freight, securing cargo for safe transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and cargo details.
- Communicate with dispatch to report any issues or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers
- Familiarity with manual transmission and refrigerated trailers
- and center mount operations is a plus
- Ability to load and unload freight efficiently
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
